Kharatet El Henna is a choir working to revive lost henna harvest songs from Gabès, Tunisia and Fayoum, Egypt. Drawing from existing and archived music and ritual, the project reimagines a fading tradition that has long been shaped by women and the land to stage performances that explore cultural loss, resilience and the power of art to reconnect audiences with forgotten heritage.
